Keep Calm and Camp With Us

Great Spot

1 mile up the road is Keaton Beach which is about as close to a private beach as a public beach can get.

Great Sites

Level graveled sites bordered by wood. Full hook-ups with three sites nestled in the trees and 1 near the clubhouse.

Great Amenities

Laundry room, shower, bathroom, fish cleaning station, boat wash and more make your stay with us comfortable and easy.

We want to hear your stories

You could stay at a place that doesn’t know (or frankly care) about where you came from, where you’re going, and the adventures you’ve been on. At Powers Little Campground and Wanderlust Waypoints, we can’t wait for you to tell us about all the awesome sights you’ve taken in on the road.

Amazing Off-the-Beaten-Path Destination

Keaton Beach is a beach and fishing community in the Big Bend of Florida. Tales of the one that got away and the day’s scallop take are always a hot topic at local shops. Lots to see and do nearby in addition to the amazing tranquility of the beach.

Keaton Beach / Pier

Just up the road about 2 miles is Keaton Beach. The beach, and Perry as a whole, is a quiet, unhurried place where time slows down and lifelong memories are made of fabulous sunsets on the gulf of Mexico, great fishing, and scalloping that are as ranked some of the best in Florida.

Forest Capital Museum State Park

13 acres just south of Perry Florida, which originally was the ancestral homestead of Florida senator Pete Gibson. It includes the original “cracker” cabin built in 1863 which is open to the public. The State Park also includes a museum and interpretive center, picnic area and playground.

Fishing Charter Services

There are a number of charter services that will take you out on the water and show you where those hidden grottos are that contain the fish that are worth telling tales about. Go out, fish, and come home with dinner and one heck of a story.

The five stars are for Jenny, Michael and their sweet and fun family. They are salt of the earth folk. Some of the best Campground owners I've ever had the honor of meeting. Jenny made my 4 year old a beautiful birthday cake and threw her a birthday party. We had a cookie decorating contest and outdoor family movie night. We had such an awesome time. Michael has helped me repair or done maintenance on a couple of issues I had with my motorhome. I had to insist on paying him for the help. The campground has nice roomy gravel lots. Very quiet and peaceful. At night you can see many beautiful stars while taking in the fresh air. It is a new campground but they are continuing to build to have many more amenities. They are well worth the stop if for just overnight or long term.

This is a brand new campground. The owners are helpful and friendly. All the sites are 50 amp service. If you need 30 amp service bring an adapter. All of the spots are level and clean. It is easy to use the hookups. There is a picnic table and fire ring at each site. Keep your dog on a leash but there are plenty of areas to walk them. Keaton Beach is just a little down the road. A gas station and and store is nearby. I would recommend Powers Little Campground.
